Ich habe das vorletzte Woche Donnerstag wegen meinem Fersensporn beidseitig gespritzt bekommen und das wechselwirkt nun heftig mit meinem #Antidepressivum Moclobemid (Monoaminooxidase-Hemmer). Ich habe seitdem starken Bluthochdruck. Ich war deshalb schon in der Notaufnahme, aber das Medikament von dort hilft nicht ausreichend....

For #SlowSunday my playlist has gotten a little heavy on the death doom/funeral side of the spectrum. There was an epic doom band I enjoy whose name is escaping me. While I was trying to find them, I had the recommended tracks for the playlist I’m building out of my Slow Sunday posts, and screw it, I’ll find them later. I really enjoyed this, and it’s also not death-adjacent.
God morning dear metalheads. Today for #slowSunday I'm having a classic #DoomMetal band. Again from the 🇺🇲 (Maryland).
It's The Obsessed with their song Freedom. They are strongly Black Sabbath influenced but they are anything but just a cheap copy.
Last year I saw them live and the old men were so incredibly good!
For #SlowSunday it’s time for my periodic addition to my playlist to break up the metal of it all, so here’s some slow jazz. I’m hearing a bit of tension between the lead lines sounding a bit like pleasant lounge music over an underlying pulse that has something discomfiting about it. It makes for a pretty cool effect.
For #SlowSunday, I’d ordinarily be looking to add something outside of the metal realm, as I’ve been trying to fill one in every four or so songs, but I discovered this band earlier this week, and I’m too excited about them not to share. I’m not 100% sure if extreme vocals are a requirement for a band to be categorized as funeral doom, but picture funeral doom with a vocalist who hangs out in the Amy Lee realm. It’s beautiful, cut through with a plodding sorrow.
I did my dumb walk thing and finished around 1:30pm. I came home and futzed about and felt really tired, so I closed my eyes and figured I’d grab a 20 minute catnap. Three hours later I got up, got a blanket and another hour and I feel better. Longer than I thought, but I probably needed it. Now to read my book and get started on dinner. #today#nap#SlowSunday
