For a game that came out in 2015, this looks spectacular!

While Letterboxd seems to be the popular option for logging and reviewing movies, there doesn't seem to be a consensus option for video games. In the past I've used Backloggery, Grouvee, and Playfire (RIP), but dropped those years ago.

So, what does everyone on the fediverse use for logging/reviewing video games?

Finished Batman: Arkham Asylum last night. Just shy of 15 years after launch, the game holds up pretty great, with satisfying combat and gameplay, a fantastic voice cast, and a cool island. There's a bit of a blend of Metroidvania and Legend of Zelda-style level design, with the locations acting as different dungeons, but with extra paths and secrets that require return trips with future upgrades to access.

Anyway, have a picture thread! Spoilers ahead.

So I went to an electronics store in Japan over the weekend. Nowadays they have a 'portable pc gaming' corner with the Windows machines: Lenovo legion Go, ROG Ally, and the MSI crap with Intel. The most surprising thing was that the store did not even bother to install any (decent) games on them. On the demo units you could enjoy the glory of Win11 on a small screen and thats it. Thats an FAIL of epic proportions. Of course the Steam Deck was nowhere to be seen.

Started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum recently. I last played the game in 2015, and I've never played any of the sequels, so I figured I'd go back and give the original a go before continuing the series.

So far, it's held up pretty well! I'm not too great at the combat, but it's fun enough. Love the sort of Metroidvania style of the game—although maybe it's closer to The Legend of Zelda, with the different buildings acting as dungeons.

It looks like the only real option for a fully functional DEX (and other things) dock is a Lenovo Tab Extreme eh?

Well, I'm gonna find out!

I hear it has actual video in so it can be a travel monitor, passes the keyboard/trackpad and touchscreen properly to the USBC input too.

I tried the Dopesplay things but the pixel density sux.

I may sell my Tab s6 LTE and Zeph G14 and move all of my travel work to the ROG Ally.

Less stuff, same or better functionality...
