My #morningrun didn't go as planned today. Temperature was -5°C and my old phone suddenly drained its battery at km 4. I really need a new one 😭!
So I went back, but with no music to keep me focused I stopped after 2ish km.
I must have run for about 6 km only.
Warm-up: 1 km walk
Intervals 4:1 ➡️ 4' slow pace + 1' fast pace (x6)
Cool-down: 2 km walk
Following suggestions I received on IG, I've decided to do #intervalrunning instead of fartleks on my short runs.
It's a bit difficult for me to regulate the fast pace, but I guess I will improve with practice.
Going out on a morning run around #sunrise is a magical experience. If you don't like running go for a walk, bike ride or just relax in your garden or on your balcony. Simply put it's an amazing time to be outdoors.
First run in the last 6 weeks, after 6 weeks of physical therapy for my calf.
I was aiming at 5 km but I had to stop because the tightness in my calf was increasing.
I am still not ok. I hope this won't be a setback.
