HAKUTO-R M1 was launched at on Dec 11, 2022 along with the NASA Lunar Flashlight mission.
https://ispace-inc.com/m1
The spacecraft followed an energy-efficient trajectory similar to the CAPSTONE mission, traveling out 1.5m km from earth and then looping back to catch up with the moon.
The spacecraft was inserted into an elliptical 100-6000 km orbit around the moon on March 21, 2023 and circularized recently.

So last night was (for me) a night off with my hobby. For about 13 hours I got to enjoy the night sky at its best. It started with a moonset to die for! The colour of sunset was magnificent and I managed to spot the 4% illuminated moon descending towards the southern alps.. Gosh, the night got better and better #moon #NewZealand

In the arXiv, cool update on (50000) Quaoar the Transneptunian: this dwarf planet, half the size of Pluto, harbors not only a moon, Weywot, but also two rare rings, located outside the Roche limit - where rings usually accrete into satellites.

#NEOs ☄️ and Policy (page 309, conclusion) : The first two chapters outlined the gradual realization that #Earth 🌍 and the #Moon 🌙 are inundated with impacting bodies and there exists a population of these bodies that orbit the #Sun ☀️ near the orbit of Earth. With the development of more and more sophisticated detectors 🔭, the known population of these near-Earth objects grew dramatically—all but erasing the reluctance of many to acknowledge the #impact risk 💥 that these objects present.

I just played around with my new vintage lens that's over 50 years old, and I'm surprised at how sharp it is, even when connected to a teleconverter.

https://twitter.com/AJamesMcCarthy/status/1646247621982580736 🧵 (Eng)

He escrito instrucciones detalladas aquí:
