"Had Joe Biden stood on stage for 33 seconds saying nothing, looking off to the side, his face occasionally straining, there would be nonstop coverage by the major media citing it as evidence of poor mental health. They would certainly demand to know what’s wrong with him. But the media is giving Trump a pass on this."

Jay Kuo interviews John Gartner, founder of Duty To Warn, a group of mental health professionals who have been raising the alarm about Trump’s increasingly sociopathic behavior since 2017. Gartner says he couldn't believe his eyes at what the press did after Biden became president: he states,

"Day after day the press was gaslighting the American people: Pathologizing Biden’s normal signs of aging, such as forgetting names, and normalizing Trump’s flagrant signs of dementia. That false narrative was having a real impact on the polls, and no one with the right letters after their name was stepping in to correct the record."

"Pathologizing Biden’s normal aging is the first lie. Normalizing Trump’s dementia is the second. The sorts of small lapses we’ve seen in Biden are part and parcel of normal aging. …

The evidence for Trump’s dementia is this: Trump shows an overall decline from his own cognitive baseline, with marked progressive deterioration in 4 areas: memory, ability to use language, behavior, and gross and fine motor skills."

Scott Dworkin interviews Dr. Bandy X Lee, who states,

“Since the very beginning, I had warned that this was a public health problem where his psychological dangers will translate into social, cultural, political, and civic dangers if we did not contain it. And that’s what we are seeing today. And what I have been calling the Trump contagion, has only been allowed to spread.”

Get 'em while they're hot! Because the mainstream media are not going to focus on Trump's very evident and increasing mental deterioration and verbal gaffes.

"Biden's brain is aging. Trump's brain is dementing.

'Phonemic paraphasias' —the substitution of non-words for words that sound similar—are not normally seen until a patient enters the moderate to severe stages of Alzheimer’s.

Some examples of Trump’s non-words: Beneficiaries becomes 'benefishes.' Renovations become 'renoversh.' Pivotal became 'pivobal.'"

"Obama became 'obamna.' Missiles became 'mishiz.' Christmas became 'Crissus.' Bipartisan became 'bipars.' …

Trump also engages in what we call ;tangential speech.' He just becomes incomprehensible when he engages in free association word salad speech that is all over the place. Again, that's a sign of real brain damage, not being old, not being slow, not losing a step not being, but of severe cognitive deterioration."

"A story that is not getting the attention it deserves is a campaign appearance by Trump on Friday filled with nonsense phrases, slurred words, and factual mistakes about historical events. If Biden had made one-tenth of those miscues in a speech, chicken-little voices in the Democratic Party would be talking about invoking the 25th amendment to remove Biden from the presidency."

Professor Laurence Tribe commented on Trump's latest speech by saying,

'I have to believe that, when enough people hear how totally unhinged Trump has become, any worries about Biden not being at the top of his game will just evaporate.'"

"With Trump's rivals in both the primary and general elections highlighting Trump's inability to distinguish between his GOP primary opponent (Nikki Haley) and the former Democratic Speaker of the House (Nancy Pelosi), responsible media should be headlining the story.

They are not. Instead, it was up to Trump's political rivals to alert the American people to Trump's deteriorating condition."

The media’s obsessions with the mental acuity of our presidential candidates seems dangerously one-sided."

Heather Cox Richardson reports what Trump just told a rally in NH:

“By the way, they never report the crowd on January 6th. You know, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, you know they, do you know they destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it. All of it because of lots of things, like Nikki Haley is in charge of security."

In even more direct terms, Trump has shown himself to apparently have a diseased mind, which in turn amplifies his already corrupt morality and ethics, attraction to violence, and overall capacity for evil."

As Kristen Holmes, Kate Sullivan, and Daniel Strauss, note, Trump has recently said that Biden could plunge the world into WWII — it ended in 1945 — and has stated that he (Trump) is leading Obama in polls. He has said that Viktor Orbán is prime minister of Turkey, and recently confused Jeb and George W. Bush.

But Biden's the one whose age and mental acuity we need to be concered about?!
