Oregon prosecutors drop murder case against Jesse Johnson, ending 25-year legal saga

Got an email from an investigator who I admire a ton & who worked on this case for a long time to help finally get Johnson exonerated & released.

UPDATE...
Attorney: Police kept a copy of downloaded data from the raided #MarionCounty #Kansas newspaper, and tried to hide it.

Police records turned over to the Court contain an item which was not on a list given to the newspaper's legal counsel.

Some thoughts about my dealings with law enforcement after reading about the situation with the Marion County Record in KS. A newspaper very much like the ones where I used to work. Something needs to be done to restore the power of the press.
