My mother's back garden land art, in the rainy season. She replaced the palm fronds on the right with pine needles. And a fern, and some of the talisay seeds have grown. The seedlings will be replanted in another area of our property. But for now they will decorate the installation. #LandArt#Philippines

My mother was feeling artistic and wanted to do something with dried palm fronds and the fallen fruits of the talisay tree, so she did the following mosaic following the exposed tree roots in the back of the house. She declares it will stop the soil from eroding when it rains. #LandArt

Heute haben Grit und ich etwas Magisches für euch! Stellt euch vor, ihr verlasst den trüben Alltag und taucht ein in eine Welt, wo sich Kunst und Natur umarmen, wo die Wälder und Wiesen zu Leinwänden werden und auf eine gewisse Weise die sanfte Hügellandschaft selbst in eine Skulptur transformiert wird.
Willkommen beim Forestival, dem einmaligen LandArt-Festival, das dieses Jahr vom 17. bis 25. Juni stattfindet. Ein Ausflug in den zauberhaften Süßgrund bei Lahnstein, bietet euch Kunst, wie ihr sie noch nie zuvor erlebt habt – mitten in der freien Natur.
Stellt euch vor: Kunstinstallationen, die sich harmonisch in die Landschaft einfügen, Wiesen und Wälder, die zum Teil der Kunst werden und Kunstwerke, die die Schönheit der Natur auf kreative Weise einfangen. In einer Melange aus LandArt, StreetArt und klassischer Kunst bringt das Forestival die Natur in völlig neuer Weise zum Ausdruck.
Grit und ich sind dieses Jahr nicht nur als Besucher dabei. Wir stellen unsere Werke aus und gestalten am Eröffnungstag, dem 17. Juni, sogar eine spezielle Performance - eine Reise, die von der mystischen Natur über die urzeitliche Vergangenheit bis in eine neonleuchtende Cyberpunk-Zukunft führt. Hier treffen meisterliche Keramikkunst und künstliche Intelligenz aufeinander. Was uns antreibt? Gemeinschaft, Austausch, Kreativität, Neugier und das Staunen.
Das Forestival ist mehr als ein Festival - es ist eine Erfahrung. Ein Ort, um die Welt mit neuen Augen zu sehen, von Sonnenauf- bis Sonnenuntergang von der Schönheit der Natur inspiriert zu werden und die Magie der Kunst in der freien Natur zu erleben.
