Listening to the fantastic #WildArms5 soundtrack at work. Such an underrated game, possibly the best in the series.
I really miss those games. #WildArms was always special to me.
I used the Steam Spring Sale to buy A Short Hike and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but today I was in the mood for something else and picked up Chained Echoes from GOG.
Salut mes camarades perv- euh mes amis "connaisseurs" !
Who tried the tactics game of Suikoden?
My physical copy included a bonus music cd soundtrack.
Suikoden Tactics, released in 2005, takes place before IV for a small portion of the story but the majority of story then fast forwards 10 years after IV. Its departure from fhe typical JRPG series using the tactical grid that grew in popularity from other emerging tactics games at that time.
For me personally it might be Metaphor: ReFantazio. The high fantasy setting seems like it could be a fun thing to explore. I really like the art style too (even thoug hit's just bog standard Atlus Persona visual aesthetic)...
This is really hard, there's just too many good games! #10GamesToKnowMe *
Tears of the Kingdom
Final Fantasy XIV
Earthbound
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
World of Warcraft
Ace Attorney (series)
Skyrim
Mass Effect (series)
Portal 2
I think I'm gotten the hang of BRAVELY DEFAULT II's combat engine now! I can tell that I'm going to have fun with the Brave/Default mechanic once the game takes off the kid gloves and challenges me for real!
We gave up on the snoll for now and instead moved on the the Louverance path in COP. Fighting a group of Moblins isn't any easier, but I still think it's doable for Toxicat and her trusts. Friendship!

What JRPG are you guys looking forward to the most in '23/'24?
