@ernie May 31, which was still early enough to sell the subsequent invites on eBay. Though this didn’t work out too great, cause one of the buyers was a former co-worker and felt obligated to just give it to them.
As a freelance writer, you never ever get to the end of your to-do list. There's always more work to do, even if it's just more admin or planning or marketing.
Just realised I had a spare half hour before lunch, so dashed off a Patreon post for next week. That's the thing about having a blog, you always have something to feed. It's a lot like owning a pet.
My work is interesting but very stressful, especially when dealing with uncooperative or frankly useless tech support.
I’m looking at you, HostGator 🤬
Meine Arbeit ist interessant, aber sehr stressig, insbesondere wenn ich mit unkooperativem oder ehrlich gesagt nutzlosem technischen Support zu tun habe.
Question for #freelancers: Discovered #mastodon last year, my first enjoyable #socialmedia. As a freelance artist, social platforms were in my business model but a drag until Mastodon. I had Instagram, checked it weekly, and can barely stand it. Mastodon aligns with my needs. Any similar experiences? Have you considered leaving mainstream social media, removing links from your websites? It got me thinking about the value of Instagram exposure. #FreelanceLife#socialmediashift
This has been an insanely busy week. I stayed up until after 10pm last night, finishing edits on a series of articles for a travel website.
And that was necessary because I needed to clear the deck so I could write a new article about my 2022 Canada trip today. And I was travelling all last weekend. Busy!
Can't wait for some time off. I just want to go to Carlton, see a film at the Nova, and sit in Brunetti reading.
