Review for Marvel vs Capcom on Dreamcast from DC-UK 3 - November 1999 (UK)
I don't think it needs to be said even, but I strongly disagree with this score.
As happened at the start of the PSone generation, 2D games were looked at as old crap that should be kept to the previous generation.
Same thing happened with the Dreamcast to a certain extent.
Today, 25 years ago, the #SEGA#Dreamcast hit the scene.
It gave us several well known masterpieces, like Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Ikaruga, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Eternal Arcadia and many, many others.
Also many lesser known gems, such as Gundam Side Story 0079, Carrier, Sakura Taisen, Segagaga, Aero Wings 2…
These games from more than 2 decades ago seem to never age, and we're as grateful as always to this spiraling beast 💜
#Dreamcast accessory that makes the system think it’s talking to a modem but it’s actually a UART to IP bridge, but without the analog phone bits that are required with #DreamPi. Make this accessory have an expansion header for someone to also attach a BBA emulator to the bus.
hardware hack for the #PCjr to make #EGA modes that are feature compatible work by mapping memory and implementing registers (and also redefinable characters with shadow RAM)
