Glad to see this game actually somewhat getting the recognition it deserves as a lot of reviewers slagged it off for being 2D and an outdated game in the age of 3D...
Review for 4 Wheel Thunder on Dreamcast from DC-UK 9 - May 2000 (UK)
This one has always been overlooked I feel.
For some reason no one seems to talk about it and when I brought it up on the other place in the past, I got quite a bit of crap for liking it as much as I do. 😂
This kit will replace the dead Dreamcast battery and put an end to that dreaded infernal beep every time it powers on! Plus retaining the date is a bonus.
This includes a resistor and diode to prevent the recharging and includes a solid state resettable fuse. A standard CR2032 has a substantially better life span than the rechargeable battery Sega used. The vertical coin mount makes future battery swaps a breeze.
I actually had my Dreamcast modded to play import. It was the first and last time I had a system chipped as it ended up breaking soon after due to a botched job.
Started importing Japanese consoles ever since when needed.
I really loved this game when it came out.
Played it all the way through despite it being very hard and confusing at times.
Such a great atmosphere and so fun to explore.
For my #birthday my #wife gave me the remainder of the £££ I needed to purchase a #RetroidPocket3+. It took me a little while to set up (mostly because I'm stupid) but I've now been playing for a few days and I love it. Being able to play #Dreamcast games on a #handhelp is a bit surreal. Currently enjoying #SpeedDevils! #videogames#retrogaming
