Made this a while back. I've always felt surrounded by other women who are madly in love with Cullen, Solas and Alistair. Don't get me wrong, they're all well-written characters. I romanced Alistair but wasn't in love with him. Cullen is a great character but not my type and Solas is ugly as fuck.
Meanwhile I am head over heels for the Iron Bull and wish I could also romance Sten and the Arishok, even if the latter is just a fling. I love me my Qunari boys! #DragonAge#fictionalcrushes
My latest random game hyperfocus: #DragonAge Origins! It's been long enough that it's like new again.
I've decided to play as Thedas Me. But since it's "origins," my Amell mage has my birth name, Rebekah. She represents young me: idealistic, spiritual, gifted, sheltered, lonely, certain that she's Special, driven by emotion and quick to believe in legends and all things mystical. I'll tag and thread my posts in case anyone wants to follow (or mute) my playthrough. :)
So, who is Jeff Grubb and why is everyone out of their mind because he made some statements about the release of DA:D? A quick Google search showed he's an author that has nothing to do with the game? What am I missing here?
Do you love Dragon Age? Do you love elves? Do you ship it? Then we have the fanwork exchange for you! Arlathan Exchange focuses on elfy goodness, whether that’s Dalish, city, or even Evanuris.

Okay, picking up from my video game post yesterday, I'm curious:
When you play video games, rpgs, ect, where you get to choose your character, do you tend to choose a character of the same sex, the opposite sex, non-binary, anthropomorphic, or a mysterious 4th option?
If you want to share screenshots of character builds I would enjoy that!
@RickiTarr I choose the same (male) if there's a choice. I tend towards games like #DragonAge, #ElderScrolls and am loving #BaldursGate3. I totally get people who want to explore different mindsets but I enjoy myself more if I'm in my same head, but with different exteriors. My kids tell me my characters are always "old" so I'm working on that.
After years of trying to find a decently priced copy, I managed to get the World of Thedas 1. And it makes me so happy!
I have a few comics left, already have all novels, and the collection will be completed at last.
Also thanks to ECC to edit the comics in Spanish, sadly no silent grove, but I'll get it soon enough. #dragonage
#DragonAge Origins: Ultimate Edition is $4 on GOG right now. That's obscenely cheap for what is one of the best #RPG I've ever played. If you've not played this gem of a game yet you're really missing out. It doesn't get cheaper than that. Comes with lots of extra campaigns to play after you play the main story, including one really big one. The writing and characters are unforgettable, and your choices affect future games in the series.
From "I would follow Bioware into the depths of Hell" to "actually, I wouldn't drop ten cents on a Bioware game" has truly been my most remarkable journey in gaming.
I absolutely love seeing references of real places in comic books. This one from the dragon age comic Magekiller.
This is Barcelona, so double happy :) #dragonage
