You probably don't know it, but it's basically electronic music for metalheads. Perturbator & Carpenter Brut play at Metal festivals. I can say it's also clear from the public at their concerts.
Originally, it grew from synthwave, but is much darker.
I'd say it's best described as being the sort of OST you'd imagine in a retrofuturistic thriller movie from the 80ies that would be set far in the future.
Crypt of the Necromancer is killing me. I was pretty happy because after few long hours of gaming I finally beat Zone 1, so I thought that Zone 2 should be easy when I finally know how to play.
I couldn't be more wrong. Zone 2 is horrible. If it's that hard, I can't even imagine how hard are zones 3,4 and 5.
But it's hard in a good way. After every death, I want to start again, not throw my Switch at the wall.

Comunque volevo approfittarne per segnalare che lo #SteamDeck ha una capienza di batteria notevole, e consumi limitati se non si fa roba grossa. Io ci gioco sostanzialmente solo a #CryptOfTheNecrodancer, e ieri mi sono potuto fare un'oretta di gioco senza grossi impatti sulla batteria. (Ho staccato perché già non sono un buon giocatore, ma il caldo mi rendeva anche meno capace.)

About 10 years ago give or take I was complaining to a friend about how mind numbing exercise is and how hard a time I have building stable routines, and they recommend a gamification app with a prosaic name like "fitness quest" or something like that, and it was just like, an app for logging your exercise in exchange for "achievements". It was dreadful. It's amazing what motivates neurotypicals.

I've made the mistake of installing #CryptOfTheNecrodancer on my #SteamDeck, I think I can drop any pretense of actually ever using it for serious work.
I've held back on #MineTest so far, with the excuse that controller support isn't good enough yet, but the actual reason is to try and get enough hours of sleep at night instead of playing #NodeCore with @rubenwardy mapping. I don't know if I should hope official controller support never arrives or not.
