It's #NationalPetDay so here's my favourite photo of my beloved @TimTamCorgi (yes he has his own Mastodon account), being fluffy and adorable.
He is currently shorn like a sheep, and well outliving his life expectancy. He's diabetic and blind, and over 10 years old (which we weren't expecting).
Okay, now, full disclaimer. I, for some reason, thought I didn't need to bring my camera to the cabin. Why? Because I'm some sort of genius, I don't know. So let's say that the photoshoot with a phone was an adventure. Most photos came out silly so... Sigh... Let's go
Puppy had her first meeting with a herd of cows today, the species her ancestors were bred to herd. It did not go well—she went into a blind panic and ran away as fast as her perfectly bred little legs could carry her. I hope her ancestors weren't looking.
(I didn't get it on video but here's her a minute into her flight looking back to see if the cow is in pursuit.)
I tend to discuss:
🎨 Any #craft or 🧶 #crochet project I'm entangled in
🥋 Goings on at #aikido
🐶 Happenings at #dogtraining that I volunteer at as a trainer
🦊 Lots and lots of #corgi spam
Moxxi carried her chunk of snow all the way to the top!
It's very hard to tell how steep the climb was from the photos but picture a corgi effortlessly leaping from the ground to the top of the first 4 ft wall of snow, then a second! I gasped audibly, I thought I'd have to catch her dumb ass mid superman.
Went on a Corgi meet today and met 12 others. Including a sister from Sheridan's litter, who we didn't know lived nearby. She's called Maple and has many of his features.
I completely failed to get any decent pictures though, just some badly framed videos which refuse to upload. So here's one of Sheridan instead.
