So I checked in to this hotel, where I booked the cheapest room, and they initially double upgraded me (highest tier member), then later updated it to a 5x upgrade to a Junior Suite with a private pool. :ablobcatreachflip:
Also added a free bottle of sparkling wine and restaurant cocktail vouchers. :meow_wine:
So my working theory is that there's a few conferences and events going on that they overbooked, so they upgraded their members so they could have more of the cheaper rooms block booked for the event.
Never got a flower bouquet for a suite room before, but I have gotten the champagne (sparkling wine, not the Champagne with the capital C), fruits, and the welcome drink every time I've been (upgraded) in a suite.
If you're feeling rich, and have easy access to multiple GHA Discovery sub-brands, staying at least 1 night at a minimum of 3 different sub-brands grants instant TITANIUM membership (max lvl), that gives a minimum of 2-tiers of room upgrades (if available).
The first really new anime for this season that I liked is #BartenderGlassOfGod. I’m not sure yet if it will get competitive somehow, I might prefer if it’s more laid back and just makes you feel like a nice evening in a calm bar. Either way I liked the first episode and how it transports the joy of having a good drink.
I found out by searching it on MAL that it’s a remake of an anime from 2006 that I didn’t know existed, and based on a manga with 21 volumes. Didn’t feel outdated at all (they must have added the smartphone stuff).
Was intending to save this Bartender anime shot for the @anime_knockoffs account, but this knockoff of Bull-Dog worcestershire sauce is just Inu-Dog :blobfoxnomhotdog:
Show looks really nice. I love shows based on alcohol. Makes me want to watch this show on the weekend while relaxing with a drink in hand.
I also love the change in atmosphere when at the higher end bar. The way the Ryuu acts and speaks perfectly for his profession and location is a nice switch up. From airheaded to professional was great.
