I'm so glad I barely use FB and gave up on IG long ago. They were trash fires before, and they've now guaranteed that I will continue to forever avoid them, with the burning passion of a million furious suns.
@rasterweb they just need another "new user interface" and yeah it totally broke the way I used it and I can't seem to find an option to switch it back either...
If you're using DuckDuckGo on Firefox or a Firefox-derived browser on Android, make sure that the Dark Reader addon is disabled for DDG. I just found out that it was the source of the big slowdown when trying to do searches.
Now I'm back on DuckDuckGo for my searches, and I don't have to put up with Brave search's bizarre and disturbing AI suggestions.
I asked Google Bard what the Dinky programming language is? It correctly stated I created it then it went on that it was used in the LucasArts adventure games (clearly confusing it with SCUMM) and then said Grim Fandago was written in Dinky. It wasn't even written in SCUMM. Someone that didn't know the correct answer would be horribly mislead. #AISucks
@et_andersson@grumpygamer while I'm very much a critic of this technology, I also absolutely find it amazing that we taught a piece of purified stone to think and then told it about Monkey Island.
Somehow, I hope the machine enjoyed Monkey Island as much as I did :-D
