Like many #runners, I save my old #running#shoes to wear to work after they've given their lives up to the run miles. In some cases I shouldn't be wearing them any more, but I do because I'm frugal (aka cheap). These I'm wearing today are old Altras where the foam and rubber of the soles have clearly hardened and lost their grip (think old pencil erasers). May have to give up on them...and they didn't even make it to mow-the-yard stage. sigh
