@tvaziri Saw “Beverly Hills Cop” when lived in Switzerland, luckily in English with German subtitles. All our Swiss friends wanted to know if US police actually hid on highways to catch speeders. We said yes they do 🙂

@PenguinToot @tvaziri I assume in Switzerland, the speeders turned themselves in whenever they go above the speed limit.

@glennf @tvaziri Ha, they did carefully line up a kilometer before a merge so they could merge politely. I’m afraid we drove up the closed lane (perfectly legal) until we reached the merge. Speeding was another thing entirely, we tried not to speed because we didn’t want any tickets on our foreigner’s record, but of course everyone passed us. At least in Europe the right lane is exclusively for slower drivers, stay out of the left lane & you’re ok.

@PenguinToot merging drives me nuts. It is most efficient for both lanes to reach the merge point.
