I live in an area where this happened a couple of times that I know of. It was usually tourists thinking they were doing a good deed showing up at the vets office with a fawn...
We have deer around our place all the time and it's really cool because some spring and summer mornings I will sit outside and have my morning coffee with them as they are grazing around the yard and garden.
