@br00t4c I am struck by the timing of the industrial revolution and the systematic extermination of the bison. We increased emissions and apparently we also did massive intentional harm to natural carbon sinks.
If we were to magically cultivate bison capturing carbon and beavers restoring wetlands, we might buy ourselves some extra time to fix our carbon emissions.
