I’ve added the ability to check for BSKY accounts bridged to mastodon based on your BSKY follows to my mastodon <-> bsky account finder tool.

Right now the functionality isn’t very useful unless you’re, like, migrating your BSKY follows to mastodon or vice versa, but I’ve used it a couple times to find people I didn’t know had set up the bridge.

The big issue I’m running in to now is Mastodon’s rate limiting. You can only do 300 requests every 5 minutes against any given server, which is an issue when my BSKY follow list is ~800 users. I’ve got a couple ideas on how to get around that, or forgo the need for a request, but it’ll take some testing. Right now I’m doing a very dirty workaround where I just round robin request the api of multiple large instances (mastodon.social, mastodon.cloud, etc) and limit the requests to max out at 299 per instance.

This is all still on a secondary branch, and it still needs to be boxed up in a UI, but it IS pretty useful

Also I coded for like 2.5 hours without any music or media playing. That NEVER happens. I think if my ADHD brain is properly stimulated or pointed at an engaging task then I can focus without crutches
