Hi, Mom! This is our first Mother's Day without you, and we miss you terribly. We wish we were taking you out for our usual brunch followed by sweet phone calls. If there was one thing I could do, it would be to commiserate with you about the terrible things we both went through in your dementia. I may always be gutted that that happened to you. But THANK YOU for being such a wonderful, sweet Mom. I adored you.
