Yeah. True. This feels worse to me somehow. At least for my lifetime. Maybe because what is being protested is the worst war since world war two. Calling it war doesn't make sense really. This isn't war, it's a genocide. Over 14,000 children in 7 months.
And hundreds of thousands, if not a million or more, in our illegal war on the innocent people of Iraq.
You're right. I shouldn't compare the suffering, death and destruction we cause. I guess I just can't believe we continue to do it while our government and the talking heads try to justify it.
Imagine what will happen in Gaza and the West Bank as this continues.
We're pretty much powerless. I understand why the Weather Underground did what they did
we are NEVER powerless. they want us to think that we are, but it's not true. there are always more of us than there are of them. and they are TERRIFIED of us.
we just need to remind them of that from time to time. and as connected as everyone is these days, that is much easier to do than it used to be.
but if trump wins, he will have protesters shot on sight.
