@dinosauce Yes, I was speaking to someone else about that earlier on today. Apparently someone who was on the Mavi Marmara and subsequently captured and tortured by the IOF is returning on this flotilla.
What an amazing human.
I'd hope that the international outcry would be enormous if such a thing were to happen this time, if only because there's so much focus on the genocide.
We shall see.
@fkamiah17 Let's hope IOF doesn't attempt another illegal violent raid & illegally detaining humanitarians on board without legit charges & not following any due processes. It's happened to same group in past - a few who were on last raided humanitarian aid ship are going again on this trip. One of the men returning is from same city I live in.
@msquebanh Yes, I remember the last time it was tried. I've no doubt Israel will try to attack them but, given how the "international community" reacted to the deaths of seven white people, a blatant attack on one thousand might rouse some kind of response. Obviously I hope they succeed without that.
