Let’s say you have 100 people, all equally skilled.

You have 1000 units each of bugs and new feature work. Each person can make progress on one unit per day.

How long will it take to address all bugs and complete the new features?

(1000 bugs + 1000 features) / 100 = 200 days, right?

Not if you have an MBA, it seems. Those features are critical, so I’ll give you 80 days.

Oh, and the bugs, too. Otherwise you DNME.

I just shaved 120 days off, why are people upset? #ManagementLogic

@stevegrunwell I have been enjoying your career-limiting posts

@grmpyprogrammer oh, I never said this was my company leadership. I do talk to—then get righteously upset on behalf of—other people occasionally 😅
