I understand why people are against #tracking but what is the concern with #analytics? As a developer with less and less time to focus on personal projects, I find it incredibly useful to know if I develop a feature that basically never gets used because I can just drop that feature and save myself some time when it comes to maintaining that app, so then I can spend more time on things that actually get used to make sure they're rock solid and as good as they can be

@billy For me it's about trust. If I trust what you say about the use of data you collect from my use or device I'll consider the question.

But trust has been lost, betrayed so many times, it's a very hard bar for you to gain my trust unless I know you well.

I'm a developer who understands both sides, but why would I trust a stranger on this?

I raely use mobile apps because I don't trust. It affects a lot of my behaviour and determines the projects I work on.
