@puzzled the birds started arriving in #YYC en masse in the last 2 weeks only to find trees heavily laden with snow. When they perched in those trees they would stir the branches and cause snow to fall on them and they would voice their displeasure.
...except for the magpies. They seem to have great fun in the ice and snow if it isn't too cold at least. There was one who liked to slide down the slippery snowy banister of the stairs off the side patio. Such weird and obnoxious but entertaining birds.
