It’s a nice day when you uncover treasures you own but haven’t seen for a while. This is inscribed to my father as a Christmas gift in 1928. Uncle Mel and Aunt Jane were gratified to see young “Junior” become a legendary reader and author. A first edition! I read it after plucking this book off his bookcase, maybe when I was 10 or so.
