@dansup Dan, you’ve done amazing work with this and pixelfed, don’t throw it all away over some trolls and drama.
Take a week off; hell, take a month or two. But clear your head and come back less angry and hurt. This will all still be here (yes, the good and the bad), ready to be made better.
@dansup anyone who takes moment to explore the fantastic tools available for newcomers to the Fediverse (like myself) will immediately see you fingerprints on everything. It is pelear you are working your butt off for others!

@dansup ooh that's sad to hear 😞 I've found out about FediDB only weeks ago. I'm curious why... Has it been too much work to maintain? Maybe you could explain a little in a short post.
@dansup Hey bud, idk the context of all this, but I just wanted to say that I hope you're doing alright! You work so hard for Fedi, it's incredibly clear, and I hope you know that your efforts are noticed and appreciated by many. If you gotta step away, that's alright. These sites will def be missed, but you and your wellbeing are more important. Please take care and let us know if there's anything you need from the community. You've done a lot for us and we can have your back, too. ❤️
@dansup For those who don't know, these aren't instances so no user accounts are impacted. One is a stats site that tracks instance size/activity stats and the other is an informational getting started site. There are many others but I have to say fedidb.org was the best looking site for keeping track of instance size/growth and it will be missed!
