Every now and then I have to shave off a top layer so it doesn't obstruct the lower edge of the monitor.

Paper printouts at least are pretty obsolete now 🤷‍♀️

And 2nd screens really are great for going back and forth between source materials and the new document under construction.

@me_valentijn Well, I am making a concerted effort to digitize all the paper I own now and shred all the other stuff. Thankfully banks now have to keep a lot of those for you.

@ai6yr I have so many piles on all of my desks and workbenches. I'm kind of embarrassed about it, even though I know its the reality of every desk.

@miah Horizontal surfaces accumulate "stuff", and it's a conscious battle for me to not let stuff compost in place, LOL. Since I have had to move the entire contents of my house out, trying to figure out a slightly more manageable system. (I have no illusions of eliminating clutter, but some better system is needed that "throw stuff on top")

@ai6yr The key is having multiple desks. “Work desk” is minimalist ultra-clean always for efficiency and video conferences. All other desks are in various states of mess…
