@noelreports I do not agree. It is the mission of the UN to keep communcation channels open. But I see why it hurts. But I think that Guterres is quite often clear enough about the invasion.
@noelreports it's quite simple butbot straightforward. Gutierrez is a student of one of the leaders of the Portuguese communist party and so he's inherently pro-russian. I used to think it.was just corruption, but it's not. There's ideology involved too.
it's pretty weird that communists are pro-Russian these days since ideologically current Russia has not got much to do with communism but in many cases I guess it is mostly about being anti-USA/west with some elements of being stuck in the past days of the Soviet Union still being a thing.
@73ms@noelreports current Russia has no ideology in the modern sense of the word. That allows them to flirt with everyone: ultraright, ultraleft etc. And finance every freak in every country as long as this freak is destabilizing.
