If I had to guess, maybe my 7 year latent lactose intolerance is suddenly back now I’m in the west. In Australia I couldn’t have 100ml of milk without shooting off like a jet rider, but in Japan I can drink litres with not so much as a squeak.
My Mum had talked of too much milk not being good for her, so I switched to almond milk for my afternoon tea - shitting less in the afternoon as a result
