paulhellyer, Budapest, 1957. Patrons sit outside one Budapest's famed cafés, the Gerbeaud. It's been on this site since 1870 and is where they invented the famous cake of the same name. (It's delicious!) But what were these people in the photo thinking, and talking, about, only a year after the revolution when Soviet tanks rolled through these very streets?
