It was so hard sending out the @phptek rejection letters. I've received some "why?" questions.
We will always try to be as transparent as possible. If you want specifics, please reach out, but here's the most probable answer.
We request people to submit 3-5 talks. We usually want people to give 2 talks at the conference.
International travel is expensive. We can only afford a few Int'l speakers.
The pool is big, we can only choose about 30ish speakers out of all submissions.
