@arstechnica from what I understand there are still many medical applications (mostly hardware ) that still use #WindowsXP because getting a medical device recertified for #HIPPA compliance is way too expensive to waste on something like OS upgrades.
Of course when legal liability is the overriding concern, using a cracked #WindowsXPActivation algorithm is probably not an option 🙅
I'd take it over Windows 11. At this point Microsoft is a bigger security threat than some hackers who'd break into a WinXP box that I'm using to play some old games or something.
@arstechnica I still run it on one PC - it's for a SCSI based film scanner and I can't be bother to buy new PC hardware to support it - the device isn't connected to the internet so should be quite secure.
