@Cassandra
Raw oyster is something I won't eat again, but the texture that I truly hate is dirt or clay drying on my hands. I kind of liked working with clay in art class but not enough to deal with that regularly.
@Cassandra Oooooooh. Just the mention of magic eraser sponges made me cringe. They're not quite as bad though once you've used them a few times, but when they're fresh out of the package... shivers
@Cassandra
I have no issue with peaches. Dry foam though... eugh.
I would say that the foam material they make Purple mattresses out of is more like silicone, which also doesn't really bother me. But upholstery foam is awful and shouldn't be allowed. The worst is florist foam though. It's dry and crumbly.
@irina Interesting! I don't think I've encountered this one. Is it granular?
There are certain books that have covers I can't handle because they're granular. I really wish I had textile info when deciding whether to order / reserve a book.
@Cassandra Plastic surfaces treated to feel kind of velvety. I may have translated it wrongly.
These plastics age poorly and get all sticky after a couple of years.
@Cassandra
Not tried Magic Eraser
But sandpaper is mildly unpleasant. Sandpaper sponge? Ew.
My worst texture ever is.
A small toy animal made from slick synthetic fabric, filled with sand. Which had leaked a bit so the fabric was slightly loose.
I have some wrist weights in a similar material, but those aren't That bad to touch. They make an unpleasant noise when you pinch them, though.
