I am logged to Matrix<>Telegram bridge as the only app.
Telegram required to change API keys, but to do that I need to get login code. And I cannot get the code because my only login is locked behind those keys... Ugh.

Why do they even need phone numbers anymore if I can't use it?
This reminded my of all the other bad things about Telegram like unusable E2EE and that they now require official app builds for registering (phylosophly it's now nonfree).

I was keeping Telegram for those new friends that don't have anything unpopular and Telegram being the only free one, but after months the number of those friends is 0. Turned out they use it for following channels and do not want to really talk there.

The SMS is not delivered to me, even from the official app. I remember there as an option to send code that way, but is not there anymore.

Tried to contact the support but no response so far.

I would use it too if I would have contacts there, because it's still much better than Facebook or Discord.
