@davemark I watched ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ last night, a film I had been meaning to watch for some time.
It could have done better in the secondary (dvd) market had there not been an incredibly stupid prolonged post theatrical release battle about what the films NAME should have been! It was also sold as ‘Live, Die, Repeat’,(maybe the packaging insert on the jewel case was reversible?) Listed in retail order systems both ways too. Sounds like some bean counter was trying to squelch sales/payouts
@davemark Sort of just drops you in and keeps on rolling. I’m a sucker for time loop films.
Luckily my film going of the past 25 years has been a bit lax, so I have more options now.
Now I find myself with a handful of choices, then, picking the shortest. I want to stop actively seeking and engaging. and just passively experience again, as I did when there were only 3 or 4 networks and I had no idea what was coming.
Sort of faking the thrill of discovery, go in blind. Even though I know
