@itsfoss Using #Linux requires some way of "flexibility" in "thinking". That is not what Windows users are known for. "Learning" seems to be painful somehow. But that is no problem. Linux is winning eventually. It is slow, but guaranteed. Just look where Linux is running these days. simply EVERYWHERE! #OpenSourceOrBust
@itsfoss my gf and I work using WinOS (company laptop) and she has a personal laptop with WinOS.
I run arch, fedora and Debian server and I still don't think Linux is a replacement for WinOS. I see it in the near future though, containerisation helps with this.
@nfilipes@itsfoss A counterpoint offered with due deference to your greater experience: having ditched 'Windows' I find Linux a perfectly acceptable - nay, wonderful - replacement for this Hobbyist and Gamer Windows user of 30+ years.
@Uraael@itsfoss welcome to Linux. It will only get better from here.
"greater experience" 🤣 thx. I'm ok on Linux. Only started 5 years ago.
I started on Windows 3.11 and stopped at Win10 😉
