@debugpoint couldn't read the article due to too many ad tracking consent popups, but initial thoughts are that qemu-kvm would just run the img file with no need to convert like vbox

@sej7278 @debugpoint I find with virt-manager, as long as you change the CD drive to a USB it usually works.

I tried with inserting a Floppy device and map the image (*.img). But it didn't work and shown no boot device was found.

@sej7278 @tripplehelix VirtualBox won't let you to choose .img file at all. It only asks for the vdi or ISO. You can't even select the img to IDE optical drive
