😑 There are necessary times when she needs to be on my devices, and I don't wanna me helicoptering over her shoulder the whole time.
BTW if anyone from Apple needs someone to test their parental restrictions or child safety of any kind, my kid is for hire. She is quite adept at skirting anything and everything and she's not even 12. Might as well start making money of this astonishing skill. Not joking.
She has also figured out the Screen Time code, that I now change weekly. I need the Screen Time code to be longer. 4 digits is not enough. I also need 2 factor-authorization on changing any of the Screen Time Settings.
And yes, this is more of a personal post. I might start posting more of my concerns and realities of how utterly brilliant digital native kids are and how 90% of the restrictions and safety mechanisms don't work in reality. THEY ALSO SHARE THEIR HACKS WITH EACH OTHER.
I have soooo many thoughts and feelings.... so many....I wish I could laugh at this atm but I can't. And please refrain to telling me how these qualities will benefit this kid in the future. I pray they do, but now they are hurting her.
