This game has been bouncing around my head for a long while, and I have experimented with all sorts of mechanics and art styles. After finally finding the fit, I’m ready to release it into the world.
But Le-Roy, why would you ever release a game with no ability to monetize? How do you get paid for your time? What if it’s a smash-hit and you could have earned millions!
I experimented with various methods of monetization. Each one changed the game in ways I didn’t like or introduced a barrier I didn’t want.
There is a pure joy that comes from enjoying a little toy with friends and family.
I didn’t want to interrupt that fun time by running an ad in between turns or make people wonder if this game is worth 99 cents before trying it.
It’s a quirky little game that I would like to spread a little joy into the world and leave it at that. Instead, I would love to hear about the stories and laughter that you have when playing this game.
