I can't even begin to describe the amount of weird math I had to do to get mouse cursor coordinates (drawn in green) to translate into game world coordinates (drawn in blue) while also accounting for game view rotation
@roxy !! i've done this too (not gamemaker) and every time i change something about rendering and it breaks i have noooo idea what to do to fix it :') and just end up changing the order of all the math until it starts working again
