At least it means vegan cheese is improving. Last I tried it, it tasted like plastic. :)
@lumi@CStamp it's pretty hit and miss, some are pretty good, some are clearly made by someone who hasn't tasted cheese in 40 years. The texture is the harder part though (from the description sounds like these guys nailed it for the few they make so far) , there's some really good swiss/cheddar alternatives now that are great on a cold sandwich but don't melt well (tend to separate). I've had a few that melt decently but yet to have a good mozzarella alternative
@lumi Welcome to the Streisand Effect assholes. True, I never would have heard about Climax cheeses. But now I Have.
Not available yet in Canada, but now I have some google alerts on and am keeping my eye open and have send a nice request to my local vegan specialty shoppe to expedite getting some of this in.
