"By 2050 we could end up with 200 million tonnes [of disused solar panels a year] globally." It is crucial to think about the recycling of solar tech as the first generation of panels near the end of their lifespan and good on the BBC for featuring an article on the topic. I just wish they had picked a less loaded headline. I mean, look at it: "Solar panels - an eco-disaster waiting to happen?"
