#California has spent billions in trying to stop homelessness, yet the problem keeps getting worse. The count is now approaching 200,000. One reason is that it costs so much to live there. We should call it what it is -- price gouging. Companies & landlords that do it do not deserve to exist. The other solution is simple -- cut out the middleman and just give them the money.
