Ugh. Turns out that the one-time-payment-to-remove-ads offline music player app I had on my phone before I had to factory restore it had moved to a subscription model (with a substantially higher price per months too) at some point.

Anyone got any others? I was using RocketPlayer.

It specifically needs to be offline, playing files from the phone's memory and with support for playlists. Preferably no ads, or under AU$10 to remove ads, and not a subscription model.

@dartigen Out of curiosity, can't you restore the old app and verify your payment? I've done that a few times over the years when I've swapped phones.

@MsHearthWitch There was a separate app for the ad removal, and I haven't been able to find it. I guess developers can hide apps from search or something?

@dartigen Oh how frustrating. That's kinda shady that they can hide it when you think you're buying lifetime access.

Might be worth an email to the devs? If you can't find any other program that does what you want.
