@mrpablington My cousin had a Game Boy and most likely an Amiga 1200. He was around 5 at the time, I was 9. The first games I remember playing were Tetris on that Game Boy and Mahjong on that Amiga.
He also got a Sega Mega Drive before I did, and he had Sonic the Hedgehog and Castle of Illusion that we played a lot.
So my first memories are playing video games with my younger cousin.

@mrpablington My first memory is playing on my cousin's woodgrain Atari 2600. I was absolutely memorized. I remember Space Invaders, Adventure and the one with two cowboys.

I was convinced the cartridge held reels of film but couldn't work out how that would be interactive.

My cousin opened a cartridge for me revealing the circuit board. 🤯

A love of computers was born.

@mrpablington wow that’s tough to think about. I feel like my first exposure was probably to the Atari VCS - the 1st run games like Surround, Combat #atari #atari2600
