Was trying out different CRT shaders in Retroarch and I saw people recommend HSM Mega Bezel and wow I love this?????
Granted my laptop screen is 1080p and people recommend higher res screens for CRT shaders to look really accurate but I also don't care if it's not perfectly accurate to what it'd look like on a real CRT, I just want it to look good to /me/.
@princessviola The Mega Bezel shader is accurate enough that Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games look as they should!
In the Sonic games, the vertical stripes where the waterfalls flow are blended, and the rapid blinking along the top of the water is softened so you can actually see how it's supposed to look!
In the NES Super Mario games, the black background makes all the objects in underground levels ghost when the screen scrolls.
It's the only way I'll play games on RetroArch anymore! 🕹️
