1 or 2 games of Valorant ranked a day, some days less than an hour of GW2 and a mobile game called one piece treasure cruise. Tbh I'd like to play more than that but after a hard day's work my mind tend to go wander and auto pilot. Lately I've been having the itch to play simpler but grindy mmorpg like Aura Kingdom but people say the OS version is bad.
I am playing online, and I have touched World Tour but don't really care that much about it. I am playing modern controls. I'm old. I don't have time to be in the lab 9037492384 hours to learn how to do the motions haha. I will never be top tier, but the modern controls fill me with confidence and make it way more accessible and less daunting. That allows me to focus on learning spacing, and other fundamentals.
I'd love to get it but Capcom knows how to screw over people who buy their fighting games, I expect a mandatory tournament edition in a year which will them be followed by another mandatory Ultimate edition which of course would need another name because it already exists...
It's really fun! I tried playing the original version around the time it first came out for a couple hours and remember liking it, but never came back to it. After watching the TV series I decided to give it another go on PC.
I just got a new top-of-the-line gaming rig built for me, and right now I'm just testing a whole ton of games I already have. GTAV is probably not the best game to test (AFAIK Rockstar has decently optimised it) but it was nice to return to it, definitely moreso than Watch_Dogs Legion lol.
Horizon has been a lot of fun. It checks a lot of boxes for me - stealthy, hacking, exploration, and a pretty decent story so far. You know a story has your attention when an event in a cutscene genuinely surprised you.
Roots of Pacha is basically a Stardew Valley clone. Slightly different game mechanics and setting, but this time you can ride ostriches. Honestly, if you haven't played Stardew, start there. If you have and you want prehistoric Stardew Valley, Pacha is a good option.
Ive been playing a bit of classic doom too! Have you tried the Ashes (Afterglow and Enriched) wads/mod things? Its like postapocaliptic doom with limited ammo. I've been having fun with those.
Nah Only got a launcher and source ports setup properly to be honestly theres some weird stuff going on, on some of the wads. Brutal Doom for example makes it almost impossible to finish the first map on some these wads. Ive been playing like the best of the year map packs from idworld. Also tried to get Myhouse to work but it doesnt seem to change and just lets me leave.
That sucks. I know My House wont run properly if it isnt set to GL rendering other than that I know nothing because my pc is a potato and im forced to use LZdoom which doesnt support it.
Brutal doom is kind of demanding, it runs on my pc as regular doom used to run in my 486 lol. If your problem is performance you can try to disable dynamic lights i think thats one of the features that pull most resources.
